The Apple Vision Pro is Apple’s recent big release. Since its release on February 2, 2024, it has sold more than Two-hundred-thousand copies. Even with the product being at a high price tag of four thousand dollars, it still has a decent number of sales. However, there are obvious problems with Apple Vision Pro. The product is the first of many VR headset products that are about to come. The Vision Pro is going to play a part in shaping the future of mixed-reality devices.

In the faraway future, technology such as this can change how we humans interact. For example, since the cell phone has been released, you can tell everyone just has their face in their phone these days and is less interactive while in public areas or settings.

This can be very unhealthy and can lead humans to have bad communication skills, depression, or anxiety.

I interviewed two Teenagers on how they feel about the new Apple Vision Pro, Matthew Katz, and Wyatt Marshall. Both teenagers expressed how interested they admittedly were in buying the Apple Vision Pro if they had the money to afford it.

“The Apple Vision Pro is a very cool new product Apple released, and I'd love to get my hands on one only if the price was much cheaper,” Said Marshall.

The students also expressed their feeling that the Apple product is the start of a different future.

“Our world is becoming more virtual every day,” said Katz.

This product could be the future pathway to a very unhealthy lifestyle for people using VR and AR headsets in everyday life. Soon our society will be like the movie “Ready Player One”.

Another factor to consider before buying one of these Apple Vision Pros is, are you really getting your $4,000 worth when buying this product. You're paying for an AR headset that lets you use all the aspects your phone and laptop can do.

So, what's the real reason you need one of these when there’s nothing different you can do on here versus your phone?

Also, not to mention the fact that you need to carry a Battery pack around with you whenever you take it out in public because it only survives acouple of hours without charging. Also, when using one of these headsets, it's extremely unhealthy for your eyes to investigate one of these products for long periods at once.

It's still the same thing as looking at your laptop or phone for long periods of time. And you're not getting all the app services like Netflix and Spotify on the Apple Vision Pro like you can on any other device.
